Dr. Sudanshu P. Kothadia is the founder of the Spine Care Clinic. It is the one and only super
speciality clinic for Spine health in Solapur. He graduated with a MBBS from the
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. After which he went to study D. Ortho.(MCI
Recognised) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital
, Sawangi ( Meghe) in Wardha. He received his DNB from the Poona hospital and research
centre in May 2014.
Dr. Sudanshu P. Kothadia has worked in some of the most renowned hospitals in the country
under some of the most distinguished doctors known for their expertise in treating Spine health
issues. After being a clinical fellow at the renowned Sancheti Institute of orthopaedic and
rehabilitation, Pune, for 2 years, Dr. Sudhanshu P. Kothadia also worked with the well renowned
doctor in the field of Spine health, Dr. Sajan Hegade, at the Apollo Hospital, Chennai. Dr.
Sudhanshu P. Kothadia has not only held leadership positions at some of the respected medical
associations in the country but has also taken up many initiatives to organize a number of
Medical conferences like the “Spine Conclave”-. Very first super-speciality conference of
Solapur district.
Even after having accomplished so much as a person, he still acknowledges his roots. His work
reflects his commitment to serve the local community in Solapur even after having served for
some major Medical institutions in the country. Spine Care Clinic reflects his urge to serve the
Pandharpur community by opening a one of its kind speciality centre for Spine health in Solapur.
His dedication to his work is also felt by his patients when he has held Spine health camps to
increase social awareness about spine health and help the community heal from their existing
conditions. Along with that, he has also held almost 50 spine health awareness talks at school,
colleges,police headquarters, BAR association and offices. The awareness talks focused on
preventive measures for common spine issues while also debunking misconceptions about
those issues. These talks were arranged at the expense of Dr. Sudanshu P. Kothadia only with a
sense of community service in his mind. He takes pride in being the only doctor to reach out to
the people about preventive measures through visual presentations without any ulterior motive
other than his concern for the community. His familial approach to helping his patients without
the jargon has helped many understand their issues in the language they understand and hence
helped them find the permanent solution to it. He has created a positive change in the
community by treating more than 1000 patients at this clinic since July 2017. His commitment to
the community and his expertise in Spine Health stand to attest his credibility and responsibility
as a Doctor. His work will continue to reflect his principles as it gives hope to even more people
with wider possibilities to transform their pain into a smile.
